Description
The Main Pedestrian Street in the centrе of the city is no doubt the local’s favourite place for walking around, shopping, eating, drinking and sightseeing. On warmer days and nights, the street (the longest pedestrian street in Europe) is filled with people socializing and enjoying themselves with friends and family.
Most of the key sights in Plovdiv are located in the centre and are easily accessible from the main street. From there you can enter the Garden of Tsar Simeon, visit the Old Town, the Dzhumaya square and see the Roman stadium, Forum and Ancient Theatre.
Along the street, you will also find many shops with popular international brands, as well as shops that sell traditional, genuine souvenirs from Bulgaria.
