Spring is certainly one of the most beautiful months to enjoy Bulgaria, with mild temperatures of anywhere between 15 °C – 25 °C during the day. Summer, although quite hot (30 °C and above) can still make for a great stay especially if you plan a few day trips outside of the city around the Rhodope mountains where it’s much cooler. And don’t forget that summers in Bulgaria tend to be very long and sometimes extend all the way through October, meaning you can enjoy nice, soft weather even in autumn.
